🎯 The Role

As an Expert Alteryx Consultant, you will operate at the highest level of technical and strategic expertise, leading the design, architecture, and evolution of our Alteryx-based data ecosystem within modern cloud data platforms.

This is a high-impact leadership role that combines deep hands-on expertise, client advisory, innovation, and practice development. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), driving enterprise-scale Alteryx adoption, automation, and best practices, and shaping data platform capabilities aligned with business strategy.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, multidisciplinary delivery teams, and leadership across regions, contributing to large-scale transformation programmes and the growth of Keyrus’ data practice.

📍 Job location: Pune or Bangalore (Hybrid — 3 days per week in the office)
🕒 Contract type: Permanent

⏰ Working hours: Full-time (40h/week), aligned with the GMT timezone (starting at 1:00 PM IST)
💵 Compensation: INR 40,00,000 – 50,00,000 per year

💥 Your Impact

In this role, you will:

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Define and lead the end-to-end architecture of Alteryx solutions across the data platform.

• Design enterprise-grade, scalable, and secure data pipelines integrated with Snowflake.

• Establish standards for workflow design, performance optimisation, and reusability.

• Lead the development of advanced macros, frameworks, and automation patterns.

• Own the integration of Alteryx Server/Gallery with enterprise orchestration tools (e.g., Control-M).

• Define and implement fully automated, zero-touch data pipelines.

• Drive innovation in API integrations, credential vault usage, and secure data processing.

• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and governance at the enterprise level.

Strategic Advisory & Delivery Excellence

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on data strategy and analytics transformation.

• Lead data literacy and self-service analytics programmes at scale.

• Translate business strategy into data platform capabilities and solutions.

• Provide strategic recommendations based on deep data insights.

• Oversee multiple project streams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Define delivery frameworks, governance models, and best practices.

• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions across engagements.

Practice Development & Leadership

• Mentor and upskill teams, acting as a technical authority in Alteryx.

• Lead internal initiatives such as accelerators, reusable assets, and innovation labs.

• Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering, governance, and analytics.

• Contribute to community engagement, thought leadership, and Alteryx expertise level contributions.

• Responsible for producing and maintaining documentation for the processes created at a data platform level.

👤 What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data consulting

• Extensive experience leading enterprise-scale Alteryx implementations

• Proven track record in architecting data platforms and delivering transformation programmes

• Expert-level expertise in Alteryx Designer, Server, Gallery, and APIs

• Deep knowledge of:

  • Advanced workflow optimisation and performance tuning

  • Macro development and reusable framework design

  • Alteryx Server architecture, deployment, and governance

• Advanced SQL skills and a strong understanding of Snowflake architecture

• Strong experience with:

  • Large-scale ETL / ELT implementations

  • Data modelling and data architecture

  • API integrations and automation frameworks

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Control-M) and enterprise automation patterns

• Proven experience integrating bespoke Python scripts within Alteryx workflows

• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills

• Ability to operate effectively at senior leadership and C-level

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities.

• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on technical depth.

• Fluency in English

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Exposure to BI strategy and modern data stack tools

• Experience shaping analytics operating models and platform roadmaps

• Bottom of the range
  You meet the core requirements and will need ramp-up time and support.

• Middle of the range
