The Role: 

As a Qlik Senior Consultant at Keyrus, you will lead the full development lifecycle of robust QlikView and Qlik Sense analytics solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable data models, and create complex visualizations that address critical business challenges. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with Qlik, Alteryx, SQL, and data modelling to build high-performance dashboards from inception to deployment.

• Hybrid model: London-based - 3x time in Canary Wharf.
• Duration: April 2025 to October 2025 - 7 months
• Inside IR35 - £550/day

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their business needs and data challenges.
• Design and implement tailored data analytics solutions using Qlik, Alteryx, and SQL.
• Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on data analysis and client objectives.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for business optimization.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Qlik (Qlik Sense or QlikView) and Alteryx to help clients visualize and interpret data.
• Write SQL queries for efficient data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Build and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Alteryx to improve data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
• Help clients streamline data pipelines and improve overall data quality and flow.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to client teams on data-related projects.
• Promote best practices in data management, visualization, and analysis, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with client IT teams to ensure seamless integration of analytical tools into existing systems.
• Provide training to client teams on the use of analytical tools, including Qlik, Alteryx, and SQL.
• Offer ongoing support and advice to ensure clients maximize the value of their data solutions.
• Manage end-to-end development project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
• Communicate progress and results to clients, keeping them informed of project developments.

What we're looking for in our applicants: 

• 5+ years of experience in a data consulting or analytical role, with a strong focus on delivering data solutions to clients.
• Expertise in Qlik (Qlik Sense or QlikView) for developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Strong proficiency in Alteryx for building and automating data workflows.
• Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Deep understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and DWH (data warehousing).
• Proficiency in Python is highly desirable for automation, scripting, or advanced data analysis.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to analyse complex data and present it in a clear, actionable way.
• Proven track record in using data to solve business problems and drive strategic decisions.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and presentations.
• Experience managing client projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Collaborative team player who can work effectively with client teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

Good to have:

• Experience with other data analysis or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or others.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or big data technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance, data privacy, and security best practices.
