π― The Role
As an Automation QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and accuracy of complex financial data platforms and applications. You will work at the intersection of technology, data, and business, collaborating closely with development, product, and business stakeholders to build robust automated testing solutions and validate critical financial workflows.
You will contribute to large-scale initiatives involving market data, pricing, and Foreign Exchange (FX) systems, ensuring that data received from multiple sources is accurately processed and validated throughout the application lifecycle.

π₯ Your Impact
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
Validate complex financial data flows, business rules, and calculations across multiple systems and platforms.
Develop automated testing capabilities for applications, APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data processing solutions.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams throughout the SDLC.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and coordinate issue resolution with development teams.
Ensure adequate test coverage for new features and enhancements during product design and development.
Perform data validation and reconciliation activities using SQL and automation tools.
Contribute to test strategy, estimation, planning, and execution within Agile delivery teams.
Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and automation coverage.
Provide technical leadership and influence automation initiatives.
β‘ What Makes This Role Challenging
You will work with complex financial products, market data feeds, and pricing information.
Success requires understanding not only how to automate tests, but also why the data and business processes matter.
You will validate data originating from third-party providers (e.g., Bloomberg) and other market data sources.
You will work across multiple applications, technologies, and distributed teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Strong analytical thinking is required to understand business logic, calculations, and end-to-end financial workflows.
π€ What Weβre Looking For
Must-haves
7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
Strong experience with SQL and automated data validation.
Hands-on programming experience with Java and/or Python.
Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
Practical experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, UFT, or similar technologies.
Experience testing ETL/ELT solutions and parallel data processing pipelines.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience creating test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience using GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools.
Financial Markets Experience
Minimum 7 years of experience within Financial Services environments.
+3 years of experience in Foreign Exchange (FX) or Capital Markets domains.
Strong understanding of financial data flows, pricing concepts, market data, and trading lifecycle processes.
Ability to understand the business meaning behind data, not just technical validation.
Knowledge of market data providers, such as Bloomberg or a similar platform
Nice-to-haves
Experience working with market data platforms and pricing systems.
Exposure to distributed testing environments and large-scale enterprise applications.
Experience with custom or in-house automation frameworks.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling.
Experience mentoring or leading automation initiatives.
