The Role: 

Keyrus is seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to design, implement, and execute performance, scalability, and stress tests to ensure the robustness and responsiveness of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with JMeter (primary tool) and exposure to LoadRunner for legacy or specialised scenarios.

This role requires critical thinking, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Target start date: October 2025
• Hybrid model - 3 days at Pune or Bangalore Office, India
• Salary range: 25,00,000 to 30,00,000 INR

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using JMeter.
• Execute load, stress, and endurance tests using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Analyse test results to identify bottlenecks across application layers.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to resolve performance issues.
• Monitor and capture system metrics using tools like Dynatrace or Azure App Insights.
• Automate test execution and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document results, findings, and provide actionable recommendations for optimisation.

What we're looking for in our applicants: 

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter (scripting, scenario design, distributed testing, integration with Jenkins/Grafana).
• Working knowledge of LoadRunner for legacy applications.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or Azure App Insights.
• Familiarity with Git and Jira for version control and defect tracking.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and cloud environments.
• Exposure to API, database, and message queue (MQ) performance testing.
• Experience with automation frameworks and scripting in Java or Python is a plus.
