The Role: 

This is a great opportunity for an energetic and passionate team member to join Keyrus UK. This role comprises two key functions:

1. Provide IT support to our Keyrus UK colleagues to keep them focused on delivering great solutions, impressing our clients and living our “Make Data Matter” motto.
2. Be part of our delivery organization and flex your Power BI capabilities to deliver smashing visualizations and solutions to our clients. Lean on us to hone and improve your Power BI skills.

Responsibilities:

IT Support (50%)

• Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the UK organisation
• Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
• Applying group IT policies and procedures and monitor compliance
• Supporting people whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices
• Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly
• General administrative support to ensure smooth running of the office
• Support scheduling and hosting Keyrus UK events

Power BI Development (50%)

• Understand business requirements from internal and external stakeholders
• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
• Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design and relational database design

What we're looking for in our applicants: 

• Proven work experience in IT support or IT technician roles
• Associate degree or advanced apprenticeship in Computer Science or relevant disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 products
• Practical experience with internet and network security protocols
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Energetic and ‘can do’ approach to work
• Though not required as on the job training will be provided, any exposure to Power BI or development experience would be advantageous
